When you use our decentralized wallet application, we do not store any personal information on our servers. All of your personal information, including your name, email address, phone number, transaction history, and digital assets associated with your account, are encrypted with your wallet private key and stored on a decentralized storage platform. We may collect technical information about your device, such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, and device identifier, solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

We get information about you in a range of ways. Information You Give Us. Information we collect from you may include:

• Identity information, such as your first name, last name, username or similar identifier, title, date of birth and gender;
• Contact information, such as your postal address, email address and telephone number;
• Profile information, such as your username and password, interests, preferences, feedback and survey responses;
• Feedback and correspondence, such as information you provide in your responses to surveys, when you participate in market research activities, report a problem with Service, receive customer support or otherwise correspond with us;
• Financial information, such as your credit card or other payment card details;
• Transaction information, such details about purchases you make through the Service and billing details;
• Usage information, such as information about how you use the Service and interact with us;
• Marketing information, such as your preferences for receiving marketing communications and details about how you engage with them;
• Financial information, such as bank account number and bank routing number; financial assets holdings; and
• Technical information, such as your wallet address, application programming interface (API)-key and network information regarding transactions. Please note that your Ethereum wallet address is not collected by us.

Further information we collect from you may include:

• Further identity information, such as your country of birth, nationality, social security number, place of birth, employer and occupation;
• Passport and/or photo ID for identity verification purposes;
• Information required to comply with anti-money laundering (AML) laws and know-your-customer (KYC) requirements (such as nationality and place of birth);
• Source of funds

1.2 How we use your information

At Yug Network, we understand the importance of privacy and security when it comes to handling personal data. Personal data is only collected to enable the creation of a digital identity and to issue Verifiable Certificates and Soulbound tokens to ensure access control across different dApps.

To protect your personal data, we use strong encryption algorithms and store the data on decentralized storage that only you can access using your private key. This ensures that your data is protected and can only be accessed by you, providing complete control over your personal information and even Yug does not have access to this data. Yug Wallet then issues SoulBound Tokens (SBTs) to the user, which can be used to verify the status of the user’s identity without revealing any personal data. The SBTs are publicly viewable on blockchain and can be used as proof of the user’s identity.

We use your personal information solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service, including:

• Providing you with access to your digital assets;
• Facilitating transactions between you and other users of the Service;
• Responding to your inquiries and customer service requests;
• Detecting and preventing fraud, hacking, or other security threats;
• Analyzing user behavior and trends to improve the Service and provide customized content and advertising;
• Communicating with you about the Service and updates to our policies.

1.3 How we share your information

We do not sell, rent, or otherwise disclose your personal information to third parties for their marketing or other purposes, except as follows:

• No Personal Identifiable Information (PII) is stored, accessed, nor processed in any way by Yug Wallet
• Third party providers may be able to access and store your personal information and we would request you to kindly go through those privacy policy documents
